Public News Service: "JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Missouri legislators are attempting to weaken the state's renewable energy rules – the same rules that were overwhelmingly endorsed by voters in 2008. The measure (Proposition C, SCR1) requires investor-owned utilities to get at least 15 percent of their electricity from such renewable resources as wind, solar and biomass by 2021."
