| Missouri News Horizon: "In recognition of Earth Day, Missouri will have a sales tax holiday now through April 25 on household appliances meeting Energy Star efficiency standards.
During the holiday, the state will waive its 4.2 percent sales tax on appliances bearing the blue Energy Star sticker, although local sales taxes may still apply."
