School of Polytechnic Studies News, Southeast Missouri State University: "CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., May 8, 2012 – Southeast Missouri State University has been awarded a $500,000 U.S. Department of Energy grant to develop a Satellite Industrial Assessment Center (IAC) to train students on energy engineering.
The five-year award comes as a sub-grant from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Faculty members at Southeast and the University of Missouri-Columbia are collaborating on the project titled “Missouri Industrial Assessment and Education Center.”"
