| Missouri News Horizon: "The Obama administration announced $54 million in new research partnerships Tuesday in an effort, they said, to increase energy efficiency in the private sector.
St. Peters, Mo., based MEMC Electronic Materials, a solar energy developer, received $3.68 million in federal funding to expand their operation. MEMC was among 13 projects to receive new funding."
