St. Louis Public Schools get $181,000 for improving emergency efficiency from Ameren | FOX2now.com: "St. Louis Public Schools have found a way to save money and energy. The district has completed 90 energy efficient projects in school buildings. That earned them a check from Ameren Missouri for more than $181,000 as part of the company’s Act On Energy Biz-Savers program.
Improvements such as more efficient lighting, better controls on heating and cooling systems are predicted to save the district over $300,000 in utility costs annually."
