Dexter Daily Statesman: Local News: Global Fuels recovers from setbacks, finds new markets (09/27/14): "Global Fuels, LLC, has increased their diversity through production of agriculture surfactants and a release agent for concrete forms. The two products come from the same feedstock as that used to produce biodiesel and opens further markets for Global Fuels.
Jerry Bagby, owner of Global Fuels, says producing biodiesel remains the main product of the company. Unlike many other biodiesel plants in Missouri, the feedstock for production is soybean oil that has been used for cooking. Other plants use raw soybean oil, but all products produced at Global Fuels come from the used soybean oil."
