Columbia advances in national energy contest : News : ConnectMidMissouri.com: "COLUMBIA -- The City of Columbia has advanced to the semifinal round of the contest for the Georgetown University Energy Prize, which will award $5 million to the small-to-medium sized city that best implements creative strategies to increase energy efficiency.
That puts Columbia in the top 50 cities nationally leading the way in energy efficiency, according to Brenna Reed, the city's Sustainability Educator."
